Breathe Deeply began in November, 2007, as a series of devotional articles first published in North Shore Church News, growing over the years to include a loyal group of email readers, a small mailing list, and this blog.

The name was originally used in the concluding paragraph of An Adventure Directed by God (December, 2007): “And that afternoon, I remembered to savor the moment, to soak in the beauty surrounding me, to breathe deeply and feel the immensity of God.”

My People: My husband Tony, me, Sarah (18), Megan (14), Kyle (22), Sam (20), Anna (16)

May these words — glimpses of an extraordinary God at work in the lives of an ordinary family — inspire and encourage you, refresh, renew and equip you to share your own unique and beautiful story with others, and may God use them all for His glory.

  1. I am new to Breathedeeply… and what I have read so far has encouraged me…. touched my heart… and helped me to not feel so alone. Thank you. I look forward to stopping by daily… or more. God bless you for making the choice to follow His leading and touch others. I will be sharing this site with my friends who also need a touch of encouragement and love.

  2. Cindee – I’m slowly adding a blog roll to my both of my blogs. It’s simple on Fork because I’m just listing all the other gate guard blogs. On Two Minutes it feels a bit more like an endorsement so I’m proceeding with some caution. I have so enjoyed your heart as you share it here. Would you be comfortable with me adding you to my blog roll? If not, no offense taken.
    Grace and blessings to you,

      1. Thank you for the opportunity to step onto the gerval path unto which you walk. In my mind’s eye, I see ancient tall redwood and cedar trees, their tops obscuring the Mother Sky, yet light beams anddust motes filter through the branches to illuminate the path.

We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. We would love to have your young grown up children to come to Mumbai to work with us with their friends to work with us during their vacation time.
